How does favouriting work in the app?

Visitors favourite performances in your TMSQR app and get a reminder 15 minutes before the show starts.

Written by Derrick Smittenaar

Visitors of your TMSQR app can add performances to their favourites. Favourite performances are highlighted in the timetable, and visitors who allow push notifications get a reminder 15 minutes before a favourite performance starts.

Available in: all plans (Platform and Standalone)

What happens when a visitor adds a favourite?

  • The performance is highlighted in the timetable.

  • The performance appears in the visitor's favourites at the top of the line-up.

  • The visitor gets a reminder 15 minutes before the performance starts, if push notifications are switched on.

Do visitors get a reminder if push notifications are switched off?

No. The reminder 15 minutes before a performance is a push notification. Visitors only get it when they allow push notifications for your app.

Can a visitor favourite one performance of an artist with multiple performances?

Yes. Favourites work per performance. When an artist performs more than once, visitors select the performance they want to see. They only get a reminder for that performance.

Do I need to set anything up for favourites?

No. Favourites work automatically for every performance in your TMSQR app.

Important: Give every performance a start and end time. A performance without times doesn't appear in the timetable, and visitors don't get a reminder for it.
